Snow 101

We finally got snow and so today we took the babies out for their first romp through it.  There were mixed emotions on the stuff.  Miriam, supposedly like me as a baby, did not care for it.  Fortunately, she warmed up to it but still became annoyed anytime she sank in too deep.  Elizabeth took to it quickly and didn’t seem to even mind the water dripping on her head from some snow melting off of the BBQ.  We had to move her away from the drip, she was that oblivious. 

“What a beautiful day mommy, don’t you think so too?”

 

Let’s see if I can get around this snow without touching it.

“What is this?  Move it please, it’s freaking me out.” 

Grape vines in the winter.  I should have cut them back but some things like pruning fruit trees and bushes, and composting, are somewhat intimidating to me still.
