“A funny idea, a jester!”

Image
In order to get the I-man to get his PJs on, I told him I’d take some pictures of him in front of the Christmas tree with his little sister.  So, here we are, Miss E. and her adoring big brother.  He’s the only one who can get her to laugh when she gets into one of her serious I’m-hungry-and/or-tired moods.  Of course, he sometimes has to sacrifice his body to the arts of funny contortions, silly face making and  other forms of tomfoolery.  But, a baby laughing session is worth at least 5 Band-Aids and a trip to the hospital.  Two baby laughing sessions?  That would be equal to 10 Band-Aids and a seat in the ER with your initials burned into the chair’s faux leather backing.

Feeling Orna-mental

I thought it might be fun to take pictures of some of my favorite ornaments.  Who knows, a flying ball, a kicked off shoe, or even an asteroid could land on my tree and I’d never have pictures to remember them by.A Hummel ornament given to me by one of our favorite friends, the Wells. The Chimney Sweep, a gift from my aunt Jodi. Here are a few more adorables.  None of these beauties will fit on the tree but they are my most favorite of all.Just after our walk.  Does a character named, Randy, come to mind?Well?  Are you going to pick me up or aren’t you? Now, how do I get out of this one?  Mommy does it all the time, what’s the big deal?Cousin Henry working on his recital piece.Cousin Tanzen, Elizabeth, and MiriamThree of the Williams ladies enjoying the confines of their car seats.Lacey, very pregnant, Leigh, and little Tanzen.  We were so glad Matt and Leigh could come out for a visit.  We could hardly wait to meet their new little lady.

Bon Appetit!

Some of what you see on Miriam’s forehead also landed on me.  She was experimenting and discovering what different things her mouth could do. PBBBBBBBTH!Me?  No, I just eat my food unless you smile at me, then I have to smile back and out comes the last spoon full.  O.k. we’re done, get us out of these seats already!

Floor Time!

This mama feels like she’s holding babies all day long, oh ya, I am.  Here’s a moment where mommy, instead of babies, gets to hold the camera and take tons of pictures.  Still haven’t overcome the addiction and I suppose I never will.  Digital only makes the habit easier to keep up.

Hallelujah!

My mom sent me this link to a truly awesome concert and definitely a boost to my Christmas spirit.  Click on the link below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXh7JR9oKVE&feature=shareThis took place in a food court of a mall in Welland, Ontario, Canada.  Christmas memories…Hunting for our Christmas tree in Michigan, 2007.  Great state by the way!
