Sucking on suckers through vampire teeth…gooey.

The beautiful thing about Halloween is the next morning’s special requests for breakfast.  “Can I have a Kit Kat for breakfast?”  “No Mommy, I don’t want cereal, I’m having a sucker for breakfast.”

We were privileged to have A GI Joe guy, Anakin, and a Secret Op. in our midst for yesterdays Halloween festivities.  According to Isaac both he and Reed were actually Ninjas.  I guess even Ninjas celebrate the holiday but don’t think they’re cool enough as is and have to dress up as GI Joes and Secret Op. guys.

Check out album to get the full versatility of these extraordinary operatives.

Chris took the boys trick or treating while I stayed home, watched Clue, and passed out the goods.  We had a ton of cute kids in their costumes and surprisingly none of them were over the age of 13!  Two years ago when we lived in MI I swear there were 18 year olds begging for candy and they weren’t even in costume!  Sure I’ll give you something if you dress up and the older you are the more creative you have to be.  None of them even claimed to be Lucy, trick or treating for their “stupid little brother Linus” who was sitting in a pumpkin patch waiting for the arrival of the Great Pumpkin.

I love the costumes! And my son, who was Darth Vader, also asked for a kitkat for breakfast. And then another. And then some gum....

Your boys are so cute...I mean wicked cool...as usual! My kids also ate candy for breakfast AND skipped naps yesterday, so it made for a really fun day. Isn't Halloween the best?

"I am your singing telegram... BANG"

Yes, that is my first thought after reading your post. I'm jealous you got to stay home and watch Clue -- fun. The boys looked great in their costumes. I love Douglas's smile.

When big kids w/o costumes show up at my door I laugh hysterically and say, "Omigosh, I get it! You're dressed up like losers! Brilliant costume!"

We haven't been tp-d yet...

Dang cute boys :)

No older kids here, either, except for at the trunk-or-treat. And you can bet they all dressed up!!! I agree with you that the older you get the more elaborate and creative the costume should be! Your boys look great! I bet they will wear those costumes long after the candy runs out!

What good looking boys! I bet your house was a battleground once they were in their costumes.

Cute costumes for cute kids. My kids still want candy for breakfast three days later.
We had a teenage MOM dressed down to almost nothing trick-or-treating with her baby! They both had sacks! That is what we get for living in Fontana and not UT.

Great costumes! you should see the LADY that came with a walmart plastic bag to our house (and the whole neighborhood!) I wanted to tell her no, but I figured she'd egg my house. She was at least 30+ yrs old, and when I asked if she had a sick kid, she said, "no I have cowboy boots on, I'm a cowgirl!!!"
